Antucura winery from Vista Flores in Mendoza, Argentina has wowed us once again with not one,

But two wines!

 

Many of you jumped on the chance to purchase the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon which scored 95 pts. in

Decanter Magazine.  The 2014 ANTUCURA Cabernet has just been released and it's also a real stunner, of course, it doesn't hurt that WORLDWIDE SUPER STAR WINE MAKING CONSULTANT MICHEL ROLLAND IS INVOLVED IN THIS WINERY, JUST LIKE WITH CASARANA WINERY "NEXT DOOR".. 

 

 

 

The wine has deep, bright ruby tones.  On the nose, there are red fruits, pepper, spices and licorice.  On the palate, it has

a beefy, rich mouthfill with gentle tannins, with redcurrant, raspberries, chocolate and fresh herbs.  It has not been reviewed yet and will likely be

A great vintage – this wine has a dark, deep color with very vibrant and lively fruit flavors. This Marsannay has an amazing elegance (it is pinot noir grape after all), with well-integrated, round, silky and velvety tannins and barrel aging that are almost undetectable.

An excellent effort, it should drink well for 10-15 years."
