Winemaker's Notes

Vibrant and deep ruby color. The very attractive nose has aromas of fresh blackberry, red currant and dried fruit. The palate is round and opens with earthy/herbal tones and finishes with silky flavors of cassis, chocolate and black pepper. Balanced and drinkable now, but also an excellent addition to the collector's cellar.

Pair with a hearty red meat, duck, lamb, game or veal cut. To bring out the flavors in the wine, complement the entree with sides or sauces featuring mushrooms, roasted tomatoes or garden spices (oregano or thyme).
