The following three French reds are SERIOUS/COMPLEX REDS (Grand Crus)DUBOEUF BEAUJOLAIS, ALL THREE GOOD TO DRINK NOW and for the NEXT 6-8 YEARS, not light wimpy fruity wines like the famous Beaujolais Nouveau. These 3 wines all taste like their much more expensive Pinot Noir brothers from the rest of the Burgundy region at a fraction of the cost. 2011 will be a great millésime (vintage) in Beaujolais - complex, serious, solid and rich in delicious flavors. There is something divine about it. It is like nature has granted, under the sunshine of April, June and August, a dazzling body,” proclaimed Duboeuf.
